I am excited to announce that we have formed an alliance with Danny Meyer of The Union Square Hospitality Group to produce an exciting new series of breakfast networking events starting on June 25th at Tabla Restaurant (11 Madison Avenue at 24th Street) and pleased to be working in partnership with Adrian's Network, Trish Rubin's "New York Minute, "  Conundrum Marketing and of course USHG.

About Danny Meyer

Named one of the most influential New Yorkers of 2006 by New York magazine, Meyer, the founder and co-owner of 11 of Manhattan's most influential restaurants, including Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, Tabla, The Modern, Blue Smoke, Shake Shack both in Manhattan as well as the new CitiField.

The Event

Our First Event, "Breakfast with Danny Meyer" will be on Thursday morning, June 25th at Tabla Restaurant  (11 Madison Ave at 24th Street). Among other things, Danny will share with us the lessons he's learned while developing the winning recipe for doing the business he calls "enlightened hospitality." This innovative philosophy emphasizes putting the power of hospitality to work in a new and counterintuitive way.

 If we're going to be doing breakfast with a rockstar, we might as well go all the way. Dorothy Hamilton, another culinary superstar will be joining us to interview Danny as well as take your questions during our popular q&a period.
 
As founder and CEO of the world-renowned French Culinary Institute, Hamilton has educated over 10,000 students in the fundamentals of cuisine. In addition, Hamilton was also the creator and host of Chef's Story, a 26-part PBS series, and the author of the companion book, Chef's Story. The textbook she conceived for the school -- The Fundamental Techniques of Classic Cuisine- received James Beard Foundation Award in 2008.  Her book on culinary careers, Love What You Do, will be published this fall.
